Holden Manz wedding – Bianca & Paulo
This Holden Manz wedding was genuinely beautiful if only a bit chilly and slightly drizzly. We didnt allow it to dampen the party though or ruin the day. Within two minutes the the outside venue was changed to inside the yoga room and to be honest I do believe it was just as amazing as if it had been taken outside. There was some interesting art in this room and some big picture windows which allowed the beautiful light to bathe this lovely couple as they said their vows in front of friends and family who had travelled from far and near to come help them celebrate. Bianca is German so her family travelled quite far to spend this special day with her at Holden Manz Wine Estate. Paulos’ family is Portuguese but most of them live in Johannesburg as do his friends. This Holden Manz wedding was was a meeting of old and new friends. At the end of the evening Biancas family had been enveloped into the warm embrace of their new Portuguese relatives. I am sure her Moms head was still spinning the next morning as she was spun and dipped on the dance floor as the crowd got warmed up to the talented band, Me and Mr Brown.
Bianca looked absolutely gorgeous in her beautiful Stella York wedding gown supplied by Olivelli Bridal Boutique in Cape Town. Her hair and make-up was done by the talented Chantelle Landman Make-up Artist. The gorgeous spring flowers and decor were supplied by Reeza from Rare Designs and the delicious cake was made for them by their friend, Vicky Gurovich.
I totally loved the art on show at this Holden Manz wedding. The owner is avid art collector as well as apparently having an art gallery in Franschoek town itself. I have seen some magnificent pieces in the guesthouse. The artistic work of Lionel Smit has centre stage in this tastefully decorated guesthouse. Pure visual overload! Paulo and Bianca chose a stunning location for their nuptials.
