Newborn Baby Adam

Newborn Baby Adam is a pretty special baby as his grandmother, Ruth, is one of my very special friends.  We have watched each other kids grow up. We have cried with each other and laughed with each other and given each other hugs whenever they were needed and patted each other on the backs as we have survived (barely) parenthood.  It feels strange that we now watch the next generation step up and become parents themselves …how did we ever get this old that our kids are at an age to have children …especially as we still feel like youngsters ourselves!

Roxanne, has always had a soft spot in my heart as she is the only girl andwiched between the six sons that Ruth and I have.  I remember her swimming at primary school, I remember her looking gorgeous for her matric dance and I remember her as a gorgeous bride as she married the love of her life, Julian.  But I think, the time that I have seen her at her most beautiful is as she became a mommy to this precious little newborn baby Adam.  The love radiates from her for this little man.  He is the most content, relaxed little baby. (Luckily as his grandmother has paraded him around her friend group …which we can all testify too …is pretty huge!)  Julian without a doubt is going to be a great daddy too as he teaches Newborn Baby Adam to fish and camp.

Where it all began!

Well without any shadow of a doubt, Adams little life began at the lovely wedding venue, De Uijlenes …ok, maybe not at the venue ..but at the cottage on the farm as Adam was conceived on the night of his parents wedding …how special is that!  I am not too sure that De Uijlenes has been able to claim that bragging right with any of their other bridal couples!  Take a peek and see where this gorgeous baby gets his good looks from!  Roxanne & Julians wedding  Part 1 can be viewed here and Part 2 can be viewed here!
