Wedding | Kliplapa-Robertson | Shaun & Chantalle – Part 1

Shaun and Chantalle’s wedding took place on a super hot day in early December! Almost as if God had delivered on all their wishes! I remember my initial appointment with them telling me that they had chosen Kliplapa in the Nuy Valley between Worcester and Robertson for their wedding because it was a venue where their friends and family could stay over and party the whole weekend! I have to admit ..that is exactly what happened! When I arrived, most of the guests were lounging around the pool or in the pool playing ball games! Everyone seemed pretty chilled and relaxed …and later, everyone seemed to help each other get dressed and ready for this momentous wedding. Chantalle was one of the most chilled brides ever and considering that their guesthouse was teeming with people and the heat was enough to frazzle everyones nerves …that was an amazing feat! And she also worked ….she got the little bridesmaids ready herself …although after watching her, it is plain to see that Chantalle has a great affinity with young children …they naturally gravitate towards her! The two little flowergirls were the cutest and they absolutely enjoyed everything about the wedding! Once the girls were finished …only then did Chantalle step into the beautiful wedding dress that her mother-in-law made for her. And she looked beautiful …the wedding dress fit her to perfection! The only hiccup from the whole wedding day was her flowers wilted slightly but I personally felt that it made for interesting wedding photographs! I think this was the first wedding where time did not escape us ….we all jumped in the car to get to the wedding ceremony only to realise that we were quite early and guests were still walking to the ceremony location ….so we all sat in the car with the aircon on full volume trying to cool down! And then it was time to go marry this sweetest, young couple! And it was one of those ceremonies where you laughed and you cried and you felt all the joy that they felt …both Shaun and Chantalle were overtaken at times with the pure emotion of their joy ….and that to me was so very special!
