This Dubai family were an assortment of relatives and it was quite precious.   It was the girls Mother-in-laws 60th birthday and for this reason, Chiara and Elana decided to do a photoshoot of their children celebrating the special occasion.

Chiara and Elana are sister-in-laws who are married to two brothers.  They were a bit stomped as to what to buy their mother-in-law for her birthday.  Most women tend to have everything they need by the time they get to 60.  What most women learn by the time they get to 60 is that family is the most precious thing.

The best gift these wonderful daughter-in-laws could get their mother-in-law was a photoshoot of her precious grandchildren.  The girls went to lots of effort to make sure her Dubai family celebrated with her.  In addition there were balloons, hats and banners  and even unwrapping of gifts so that the children could get into the celebrating mood.

Above all else, the children were absolutely cute.  The mommies were lovely and Chiara’s visiting parents from Italy were very gracious. Moreover, the children seemed to have had fun and enjoyed the festivities.

I first met Tas, Dylan and Jack when I did Jack’s Newborn photography three months ago.  Tas asked me if I would be available when her sister, Yasmin and her little boy , Zane, came to visit from Hong Kong as she thought it would be really cute to take photos of the cousins who were born exactly a year apart.  Jack was a month early and by being a month early ..he arrived on Zanes’ first birthday …how special was that!  I have to say this is one gorgeous family!  The little boys are just so cute …as cute as little buttons.  Zane is the cutest 15month old and Jack is really so precious ….I love the photograph where it looked like he was giving me such a charming smile.  Zane is a normal active toddler and hardly ever sat still …but he gave us lots of laughs and giggles ….I especially laughed when i saw him do the laundry …apparently thats his favourite pastime …he loves loading the washing machine with all the dirty clothes and then taking them out and giving the clothes a good shake ….no lie …go look …I have captured it!  These family moments were really precious as they dont get to see each other too often ….oceans and continents separate but thank goodness for technology …as Skype makes it so much easier these days!  It has definitely made the world a smaller place!  Tas reckons i am now their family photographer …..I really hope so …cos i would love to see Jack become a gorgeous toddler like his cousin …these two boys are going to be heartbreakers!

I met Mark and Anna four days before their wedding for their engagement shoot …..and i couldnt believe that Anna had never had a photo shoot before …she has the most beautiful face with the most gorgeous dimples!

And this beautiful lady only has eyes for Mark ….and I can understand why ….he is such an awesome man …and i cant help but say that i became really very fond of this young man! His manners are impeccable and he treated Anna like an absolute queen …but when i saw him interact with his own mother on the day of the wedding ….I knew that Anna was really marrying a true prince.

Mark is South African and grew up here and went to the local Wynberg Boys High School …but he decided to spread his wings and move to the UK ….and went to work for 3M where he met his gorgeous, Anna.

And when they decided to get married …they both agreed that they would get married here …..and what better place to get hitched than at the very beautiful, Tintswalo Lodge!

It seems their friends had no problems travelling to sunny South Africa to watch these nuptials take place! I did wonder though if the company, 3M had grinded to a halt for this wedding …..as there was a large amount of their staff at this wedding!!!
