A Hollywood Princess
This Chris-Elle, Swellendam wedding was definitely one for the books! Carla looked like a Hollywood movie star and Hendrik didn’t look to shabby either! This gorgeous couple tied the knot at the beginning of March at the Chris-Elle wedding venue just outside the picturesque area of Swellendam at the same time you might recognise them as the couple who I photographed in Piketberg awhile ago for their couple shoot!

The Swart sisters
I have known the gorgeous young lady since she was a young girl. Her aunt and uncle are friends and we have, on a couple of occasions spent weekends at Carla’s parents farm in Riviersonderend. Carla is the youngest of Rykie and Cansius three gorgeous daughters.
I cant totally understand those nerves Hendrik. Anyone who knows the beautiful Swart girls, knows that their father is an absolute giant. I think over the years he scared many a young man away. But the men who stuck around, soon found out that he was a gentle giant and complete putty in his daughters hands!
Johnny Walker to steady those nerves!
I met Hendrik over a year ago when I did a shoot for this young couple on his farm in Piketberg. He was such a gentleman and was a perfect match for this young lady.

Carla grew up in Riviersonderend and Hendrik grew up in Piketberg which is a fair distance from one another, however, Stellenbosch is pretty in the middle and this is where this gorgeous young couple met. It seems all relationships start in Stellenbosch!
