Cavalli Estate Wedding
Cavalli Estate is truly a gorgeous venue for a Cape Town wedding. It is surrounded by such a majestic mountain range and therefore offers great landscape backgrounds. Cavalli Estate is also very far from residential areas and allows wedding parties to party until the small hours of the morning. It is really a gorgeous five star equestrian estate. The Cavalli Estate reception area lent itself beautifully to the Margot & Charles edgy, botanical wedding. It was a sight to behold …lush greenery with awesome pops of joyful yellow and added points of interest with some interesting furniture , lights and some on trend design concepts. Bridal Sidekick specialises in custom floral orders, individually made creative concepts for bridal couples. Karla from Absolute Weddings was the co-ordinator and once again she impressed. Her operations are definitely like well oiled machines. Karla is totally professional and her attention to detail is amazing and it is always a pleasure to be at one of her weddings. Elsje Designs created very elegant, custom made stationery for Margot & Charles. Exceptionally classy! And once again, Cape Dj’s kept the party going. SMD Lighting supplied all the trendy lighting for the evening and the trendy, novelty furniture was supplied by Scape Events.
Margot looked exquisite on her wedding day and without a doubt was one very happy bride, I believe the photos are testament to her happiness as it totally shrouded around her like a veil for the whole day! Her make-up was done by the talented Algria Ferreira. This was only the second time that I had worked with her, the first being for Minki’s Van Der Westhuizens wedding but both times she has been impressive, her make-up is absolutely flawless and on top of that, she is such a fun lady. Some of you might notice that the dark-haired bridesmaid is also one our top make-up artists in Cape Town, Merlene Engelbrecht. I have to be honest, I think the supplier that took the cake, is without a doubt, Teresa Joubert from Gelieft Bruid & Pret-a-Porter. This sweet lady lives for her art and creates pure pieces of fantasy bespoke wedding dresses to transport brides to a different era. Teresa worked her fingers to the bone creating the wedding dress, the bridesmaids dresses and Margots moms dress. The detail in the wedding dress was mind-blowingly beautiful ..a true creation for a gorgeous bride. Teresa is a true professional and arrived to actually dress the bride and ensure that everything was perfect. Lookout for her taking a cellphone pic of the bridesmaids!
