I knew the moment that I met Mox & Zac that I was going to have an absolute ball with them on their wedding day! And I have to say, they didnt disappoint! Mox is a musician at heart ….it comes across loud and clear! I still jokingly told him that they were doing the Cape Town Idols auditions on his wedding day! The boys were absolute cool cats and the girls were as playful as kittens! And then,add them against a backdrop of the very chic, glam Crystal Towers and you have a wedding that has a completely different spin on it!
With the backdrop of Canal Walk behind us and waterways surrounding us, there were times when I could have believed that I was shooting a wedding in Italy or Venice! Alas, I still have it on my bucket list …but it was close!
The groom and his groomsmen were slick and allowed me total freedom when it came to my creative juices! And Zak and the girls were also an absolute pleasure to work with!
I seriously have to say that I dont think Zak & Mox could have chosen a better location for their wedding ….it suited them to perfection!
And then to make it even more mindblowing ….just add the genuine love and affection that these two have for each other …and what more could I possibly ask for!
This was the first time that I had done “A First Look” and I have to say the beauty of it is that it gives you plenty of time for the couple to have their photographs before the ceremony! We slipped out again a little later just to take advantage of the great light!
