This Stellenbosch Forest Winter wedding was absolutely amazing! Yes, it was cold but Ju-Mari and Steyn had supplied blankets, Gluhwein, coffee, donuts and great music to keep everyone on the dance floor and warmed up! Not to mention the glowing fires around the venue!
This wedding took place at Winery Road Forest in Stellenbosch and what a little gem this venue was! Perfect for this winter wedding! Once again, I had the delight of working with the talented San-Marie from Creativenook. Her decor and florals were on point!
Ju-Mari and Steyn are definitely made for each other. Opposites definitely attract! Ju-Mari is spontaneous and a wildflower and Steyn is conservative and thoughtful, cautious. They balance each other perfectly.
I had lots of fun with Ju-Mari! She is definitely spontaneous! It was the first time I have ever had a bride throw herself on the bed! I loved her glitter bomb!
Spraying the champagne had everyone laughing and happy.
The groomsmen throwing Steyn in the air, had everyone laughing except Steyn who I think was pretty nervous of being dropped.
The only hiccup of the day was trying to button the wedding dress which ended up making Ju-Mari late. Daylight definitely slipped away quickly.
I love winter weddings. You can start them earlier, couples can spend more time with their guests and you can dance all evening to keep warm.
