Red dunes family Photoshoot
Red Dunes in Dubai is always a fun place to have a family photoshoot. The children love running up and down the dunes. The only downside is getting sand in their eyes.
I personally love the dunes, I find them dramatic and a gorgeous backdrop to family photoshoots.
The red dunes are very popular with tourists and locals. The dunes are great for 4×4, camping and sand boarding.
The Botke family
I met Marianne through my Dubai bookclub and we have often had some fun evenings. I am not sure how she manages bookclub to be honest as she is so busy with her three children. Most mothers are aware at how children keep us on our toes. Although to be honest, if we changed the name to Wine club, most mothers would make a plan!
I had met her husband, Clinton, briefly, when we had had bookclub at her villa. The children were already in bed, so the day of the shoot was the first time that I met them.
Annabelle, the baby but the leader of the family, had a brief wobble moment as she got out of the car but as soon as she saw her brothers running up the dunes, she was there in a flash. She is truly a character and I got to capture her expressive face to my hearts content.
I love this moment …..that moment, when all children have …..is this going to be over???
Rylan is the handsome oldest son. The camera absolutely loves him. He battled with the sand in his eyes. Running around in the desert definitely has its disadvantage as the sand is kicked up and ends in your eyes.
Cohen, is the middle child and such a chilled little character. Friendly, happy and affectionate. Lots of kisses for mom and even a few for his little sister.
Marianne and Clinton may feel that they have their hands full with three youngsters but its obvious that they wouldn’t want it any other way. The fun and laughter was very evident.
Marianne, I think you can tell Santa that he may leave all the presents under the Christmas Tree this year. Your children were perfect and I enjoyed spending time with them!
And lastly, a big thank you to my husband, Mark. Who was my driver, my reflector holder and who entertained the children when we had started to lose their attention and put smiles back on their faces.
