Cape Town boudoir photography is catching on slowly but surely! Most of my clients who have done boudoir photoshoots with me have found it to be quite empowering. Simone was gifted this shoot by her husband, Jens …in fact it was part of their wedding package but with the craziness of planning a wedding, she asked if we could do the boudoir shoot at a later stage but before we all knew it …a year had already passed since the wedding! This is actually the third time that I am photographing this gorgeous lady. The first time was for her engagement photos, the second time her wedding and last but not least, her boudoir shoot. The one thing that has always impressed me about Simone is that she embraces life and lives large …I could almost imagine her uttering the motto “Go big or go home” …she loves with all of her and she parties like Mick Jagger …I think if Simone decides to do something ..then she gives everything of herself and doesn’t hold back…whether it be work, friendships, family or her love life ….Simone doesn’t do anything by half measures! (Luckily for Jens!) And the same can be said for this shoot ….Simone never held back and allowed her beautiful, sensual self to shine through. I think having the love of a good man has also allowed her to grow in confidence and stature. We split this shoot into two sections ….Simone wanted some of the photos taken in her back garden as she has a beautiful forest as a garden and then the second half of the shoot, she booked a room at the arty, quirky Heritage Square hotel and what a fantastic backdrop that was! I am not quite sure who had the most fun, me or Simone ….or Jens when he joined her in town later that evening!!!
