Well I suppose Summer it all depends on how you look it …for me personally a beautiful, tasteful boudoir shoot is pure art and a celebration of women! When I am photographing a woman for a boudoir shoot …I am not seeing a woman who promotes sex but a woman who is confident in herself, who rejoices in her inner confidence! I do not act like its not big deal ….I act like its a celebration of the liberated women that we are! I rejoice in our freedom to be able to choose …and my clients have chosen to celebrate their confidence! I totally respect my clients who choose not to be on social media ..that is their choice and I have no problem with that! The ones who have chosen and are confident enough to have their session blogged are strong, independent women who dont answer to anyone but themselves! Most women dont actually do this for their husbands …the do it for themselves! I am sure the pervs and teens see far worse than women in lingerie and how is this far worse than a woman in a bikini and what children are seeing on television, movies, advertsising etc And you are never forced to see anything that you dont want to see ….with my boudoir photography, you do actually have to link into my blog to see those photos …so whoever clicks on the link has chosen to view those photos! I personally think its far worse to see humans abusing animals and their fellow race than viewing a tasteful, artful, creative shoot! But hey, we are all allowed to have different opionions …we do live in a free society after all!

In my mind, boudoir photographs are artistic – they hint without being explicit or vulgar, unlike pornography. As you say, boudoir photographs are more focussed on the subject while pornography is more focussed on the viewer.

On a side note.. I loved your boudoir shots! Makes me want to find a model here to do some of my own!
